Fisrt side: Hercules with Goddess Athena. Heracles is seated a stool with his club resting against a leg. He wears a lion-skin cape and holds a cup in one hand. Athena, wearing a peaked helm, pours wine from an oinochoe jug. The painting perhaps depicts the hero's reception on Olympus following his apotheosis.
Second side: It is depicting Eros.In Greek mythology, Eros is the Greek god of love and sex. In the earliest account, he is a primordial god, while in later accounts he is described as one of the children of Aphrodite and Ares and, with some of his siblings, was one of the Erotes, a group of winged love gods.
